Lesson
MACD Signal Reading Intensive
A two-day flagship workshop that trains you to read crossovers, histogram shifts, and divergence on live and historical charts.
Who it is for
Traders and serious market students who already plot MACD but hesitate when the signal line crosses, the histogram flattens, or price and momentum disagree. You do not need a professional desk — you do need willingness to work on charts aloud.
What you leave with
A repeatable reading sequence for MACD signals: confirm the crossover context, check histogram slope, look for divergence against the price swing, then decide whether the setup belongs on your watchlist. You leave with annotated chart packs from ASX equities and major FX pairs used in class.
Scope
Included
- Day one: MACD components, default settings versus intentional tweaks, and false-positive crossovers
- Day two: divergence drills, multi-timeframe alignment, and a supervised live-session review
- Printed and digital note sheets; post-workshop email with annotated examples from the room
- Morning tea both days
Not included
- Brokerage accounts, software licences, or trade execution
- Personalised portfolio advice or “buy/sell” recommendations
- Overnight lodging
Provider and process
Sessions are led by the Networking Intelligently training desk in Sydney. Before day one you receive a short brief: markets you follow, preferred timeframes, and one chart where MACD recently confused you. Day one builds shared vocabulary; day two puts that vocabulary under live conditions. Seats are limited so every attendee can present at least one chart.
Duration and place
Two consecutive weekdays, 9:30–15:30, at our Kent Street teaching room with external screen feeds for market hours that fall outside the classroom clock. Remote attendance is not offered for the intensive — the point is shared chart critique in the room.
Preparation
Bring a laptop with the charting package you already use. Install nothing new for us. Know how to load MACD with your usual settings; we will discuss why those settings matter once everyone can see the same bars.
Constraints
This is educational training under Australian consumer law for services, not financial product advice. Markets move; examples are for reading practice only. We may postpone a date if enrolment falls below four seats.
Pricing basis
AUD 1,450 per seat, inclusive of GST. A 30% deposit holds your place; the balance is due seven days before the first session. Corporate invoices available for teams of three or more at the same rate.
Next step
Enquire about the intensive with your preferred month. We reply within one business day with open dates and a short preparation checklist.
