Networking Intelligently (“we”) controls personal information collected through networkingintelligently.digital and offline enrolment. Address: Level 21, 207 Kent Street, Sydney NSW 2000. Email: hello@networkingintelligently.digital. Phone: +61 2 9258 7700.

What we collect

  • Identity and contact details you submit (name, email, phone if provided)
  • Enquiry content (preferred lesson, dates, markets and timeframes you mention)
  • Booking and payment references needed to administer lessons
  • Technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited when analytics cookies are accepted
  • Cookie consent preference stored in your browser

We do not ask for brokerage passwords, government ID numbers, or sensitive health information for standard enrolments.

Why we collect it

  • To respond to enquiries and schedule lessons
  • To process payments and issue receipts
  • To send workshop logistics you have requested
  • To improve the site when analytics are allowed
  • To meet accounting and legal obligations in Australia

We handle information with your consent (forms, cookies), for contract performance (delivering booked training), and for legitimate interests in operating a small training practice — balanced against your rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles.

Retention

Enquiry emails without a booking are kept up to 24 months. Booking records and invoices are retained for seven years for tax and consumer-law purposes. Analytics data, if collected, is retained according to the analytics provider’s settings (typically 14–26 months). Cookie consent choices remain until you clear local storage.

Sharing

We use service providers for email, hosting, and (if you accept analytics) measurement. They process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

International transfers

Some providers may store or process data outside Australia (for example hosting or email infrastructure). Where that occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Your rights

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. You may withdraw consent for optional analytics via our cookie controls. To complain, contact us first; you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Children

Our training is aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
